My Story

Bryan Tyler brings a rare blend of military service, public safety leadership, and educator heart to ThriveWell Medical Center. A U.S. Army veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Bryan spent more than two decades in law enforcement, where he specialized in mental-health crisis response, de-escalation techniques, and Baker Act procedures. Those years on the front line showed him, up close, where the health system falls short, and sparked a vision to build something better: accessible, compassionate, high-quality care for every member of the community.

After retiring from law enforcement, Bryan poured that purpose into education as a faculty member at Immokalee High School. There, he helped design and launch a first-of-its-kind subprogram, at Immokalee High School, within the Criminal Justice track that trains and certifies students as 911 dispatchers before graduation. Working hand-in-hand with the Collier County Sheriff’s Office, Collier County Public Schools, and Immokalee High School, Bryan built the pathway from the ground up; securing partnerships, shaping curriculum, and mentoring students through to certification. The result are graduates who step into well-paid, meaningful careers with the skills and confidence to serve their community.

At ThriveWell, Bryan’s steady leadership, operational know-how, and deep compassion help ensure that patients experience care that is personal, coordinated, and truly responsive. He champions systems that remove barriers, elevate safety, and meet people where they are, whether that’s in the clinic, through telehealth, or via community partnerships. Colleagues know him for his tenacity, calm under pressure, and unwavering belief that healthcare should work for people, not the other way around.

What drives Bryan: a lifelong commitment to service, a teacher’s heart for developing the next generation, and a clear vision for expanding access and improving the quality of care across Florida. With Bryan helping to steer the mission, the future at ThriveWell is bright, and firmly centered on the people we serve.
